WHAT IS INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY?
Vascular & Interventional Radiologists diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions utilizing advanced imaging  technology and minimally invasive techniques. These procedures are generally performed through a tiny skin incision and result in less pain, faster recovery and shorter (or no) hospital stays.

Examples of conditions treated include vascular disease such as deep vein clots, arterial and venous narrowing, aneurysms, bleeding, kidney and bile duct blockages, uterine fibroids, infertility, pain, spine fractures and cancers of liver, lung and kidneys.
